If you look around our office, you will notice that there are no large x-ray arms hanging from the wall in each operatory. They have been replaced by handheld NOMAD x-ray units. These are designed so that the staff can stay with the patient while the x-ray is taken. This is particularly helpful for apprehensive and pediatric patients. Less clutter and greater peace of mind!
